In educational institutes/schools evaluation of student is done at each step. In case of franchise business, it totally depends on the perspective of the person running the franchise. Every franchisor has its own methodology on teaching and to want to maintain a level under its brand name. For this purpose Franchisor needs to evaluate students directly. Online examination is the best way to test students. It is instant and very cost effective. Our eTestPlus has many advantages to count. Some are listed as-
Franchisor can maintain a uniform standard under its brand name. It directly connects students to franchisor and it gives actual business position of its franchisees. It not only uses very little resources to execute an event but also it gives instant evaluation results. Starting and completion time are both recorded by the server hence manipulation with results is not possible at any level.
The system is extremely user-friendly and an easy way to take up online examinations. eTestPlus application has 4 modules:-
1. Question Bank   It provides functionality of managing question bank. Users can add/modify/delete questions from bank. These questions can be used in the tests. Each question has several attributes. Following is the list of major attributes of the questions: Stream Area/Sub Area Degree of Difficulty Education Level Validity Differentiation Capability 2. Assignment wise Test Management   This module manages student assignment and corresponding tests. Here admin create assignment, define It includes following steps: Assignments creation Batches definition Define test Adding Questions to Test. Import Candidate Data from Excel sheet 3. Online Examination   This module is web based and will work on Internet. It has 2 modules: Admin Module Admin module is developed for Franchisor. It will used to control assignment and test properties and displaying some reports. Following options are available in this module: Assignment Area. Name, Available Period, List of Candidates, List Batches, List of Tests. Batch Properties. Period of batch can be modified online. Test Area. Number Questions, List of Candidates, Statistics – Total Candidate, Appeared, Absent Candidates and Merit List. Candidate Module Allows the candidates to login, follow the instruction and take the test. Questions will be displayed one-by-one to candidate in a common page. User will have option to move forward and backward in the test any time to review questions. When user opens a question which has been responded then user’s response will also be shown in the questions i.e. his/her choice will be shown selected. User will have to select correct choice and click on Next/Previous button to submit his/her response. User may also mark a question as ‘Attempt Later’. 4. Result Calculation   Result will be calculated online and it will be available online for administrator. It will also have an option to display result to candidate on completion of test. This option will be assignment based. Responses of all candidates will be evaluated against correct answer and result will be calculated. If negative marking is defined for the test, it will also be considered while evaluation. A merit list will be available for viewing and printing online.
